Na letošnjem BIT OPEN-u 2003 je nastopilo 109 tekmovalcev iz klubov po celi Sloveniji. To pomeni, da je bil turnir letos najmnožičnejši v Sloveniji. Odigranih je bilo več kot 200 napetih tekem, najbolj pomembno pa je, da so se dobro počutili vsi obiskovalci turnirja. Dobro so se počutili vsi nastopajoči, saj je vsak nastopajoči med drugim dobil tudi reklamno majico in pijačo, dobro so se počutili najboljši v svojih kategorijah, saj z vašo pomočjo dobili zelo privlačne nagrade, dobro so se počutili gledalci ob zanimivih tekmah, ob vsem tem pa smo se dobro počutili tudi mi, organizatorji.
Dragi obiskovalci in sponzorji, radi bi se vam torej zahvalili za obisk in pomoč pri organizaciji turnirja, brez vas nam namreč ne bi nikoli uspelo!

Z današnjim dnem se je končal ekipni del evropskega mladinskega prvenstva. Naši mladinci in mladinke so danes s 3:2 (7:4 v setih) premagali Ukrajino in tako osvojili 11. mesto, oz. 3. mesto v drugi skupini, takoj za Bolgarijo in Škotsko.
Ob 19h se je začel dvoboj finalistov - Nemcev in Dancev, na 3. mestu je pristala Rusija, za njo pa si sledijo Finska, Nizozemska, Anglija, Švedska in Poljska.
Jutri se začnejo igre posamezno in dvojice, otvoritveno tekmo pa bosta Boljka in U. Silvester odigrala ob 10h proti Belorusoma Jakačuki in Konanu (op. avtorja: imena prirejena, originalno sta to Yauheni YAKAUCHUK/Volha KONAN)

Pre-Play
Before a match/competition, it is important to top up on fuel stores. The meal should be familiar. Do not experiment with new foods prior to competition. Eat at least 2-3 hours before competition to allow time for comfortable digestion. The meal should be high in carbohydrates and low in fat, protein and fibre.
V soboto, 12. aprila ob 10. uri so naši mladinci igrali proti Bolgariji in tesno izgubili 3:2, popoldan pa so Romunijo premagali 5:0. Danes ob 14h igrajo proti Belgiji in ta boj bo odločil, ali gredo naprej kot drugi v skupini, ali pa bodo samo še greli gledalske stolčke do torka, ko se bo začelo prvenstvo za posameznike.
V Trebnjem je bil prvič organiziran turnir TOM OPEN in sicer do 11 in 15 let. Žogice si moral kupiti na turnirju in sicer pri Đuskotu - Šreklu. Žogice so bile Tronex - zelene, rdeče in modre.
Turnir je potekal po skupinah, tako posamezno kot v dvojicah. V dvojicah sem igral skupaj z Jezernikom. Brez težav sva se prebila do prvega mesta. Za nagrado sva dobila pokal, medaljo, celo rolo frotirja, majico... V finalu sva imela Turka in Bajuka. To je fora. Ni turnirja, ko ne bi igrali mi med seboj.
V Lendavi je 5.4. in 6.4. 2003 potekal 3. A turnir. Naša udeležba je bila tokrat zares številčna, saj smo se v Lendavo odpravili kar s tremi avtomobili, polnimi do zadnjega kotička. Odpravili smo se že v petek zvečer z mislijo, da se bomo naspali in zjutraj vstali vsi polni energije za igranje. Vendar ni bilo povsem tako, saj smo se pogovarjali še dolgo v noč. Spat smo se spravili šele okoli 1 ure zjutraj.
